Enter your personal debit or credit card details when registering or in your Profile, “Payment Method” subsection. The amount of 3 BGN will be withdrawn from your card and automatically added to your Hobo balance in the form of hobos (credits) for future trips. You can top-up your balance at any time in your Profile section, subsection “Top-Up”. The price of the service in Sofia is 1.50 BGN/unlock fee and 0.25 BGN/minute; in other cities - 1.00 BGN/unlock fee and 0.25 BGN/minute.

Nope, just enjoy the ride.

Open the app and you will see a map which shows you the scooters which are closest to you. If you don’t see any available scooters zoom out.

After you find an available scooter, scan the QR code to unlock it. If it is too dark, you can enter the 4 digits under the QR code. Slide to Open.

You will see a light and hear a sound upon scooter activation. To start your ride, place one foot on the scooter board and kick off once with the other. Push down gently the throttle on the right handle to accelerate while keeping both feet on the board. To slowdown or stop, use the brake on the left handle. Keep your balance and watch your speed.

While in an active session, you can press the “Pause” button. The scooter is locked and cannot be rented by another user. You have 5 free minutes, after which each subsequent one is charged 0.25 BGN. You can exit the Pause mode and continue your ride at any time.

Simply slide the "End" button in the app.

You can ride our Hobo scooters 24/7 every day.

You must lock your scooter to complete your ride. If you do not lock your scooter, charges will continue to accumulate. The maximum daily charge for an uncompleted ride is 100 BGN.

Our team makes sure that scooters are charged and in the best rental condition.

With full battery you can ride for up to 50 km.

The speed limit is 25 km/h. Use the bike lanes where they are available or stay in the right side of the road. Please don’t ride on sidewalks and pedestrian areas. When entering a low speed zone (visible in the map), the speed of the scooters decreases automatically so as to comply with local regulations. Always be mindful of others when parking your Hobo scooter. You must be at least 16 years old. It is not recommended to drive under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.

Please report immediately any issue related to your Hobo scooter including malfunction, damage or a missing scooter. Use the app or let us know via email at support@hobo.bg.

If you are a party to a traffic collision resulting in injury or property damage, or in case of a theft related incident, you should first report the case to the local police and then inform us at support@hobo.bg.
